		Client profile: Expert's choice for mortgage advise Project: Website development, secure network
		Requirement The client are a leading provider of mortgage services, with an excellent reputation for quality – for example, providing the weekly mortgage tables to the Sunday Times.   The requirement was for a (very) secure, permanent Internet connection to their Head Office, with a ‘demilitarized zone’ for ‘public-facing’ Internet servers. The solution should be capable of supporting secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) facilities.   Solution Due to the critical security requirements, a hardware based, Cisco PIX firewall was selected for this project. This was closely integrated with other Cisco networking equipment to provide the Internet and VPN connectivity via the JPCi Internet backbone.   The web system was developed within an aggressive deadline, working closely with the client's marketing and business systems staff. All expectations have been met, with many being exceeded. Further developments with JPCi are now proceeding on a long-term (2 to 3 years) basis.
